Sony Announces PlayStation 5 Pro

Sony just announced a more powerful PS5 console. Mark Cerny, the lead architect of the PS5 console, says the PS5 Pro improves on the original console in three key ways: a larger GPU, advanced ray tracing, and custom AI-driven upscaling.

The PS5 Pro will launch on November 7th, Price will be $700, and it looks similar to the slim version of the PS5. 

PS5 Pro key features:

• The PS5 Pro with 2TB of storage is the most powerful console in Sony's history. The graphics chip is 67% more powerful than the PS5 and the memory is 28% faster.
• The PS5 Pro has improved support for ray tracing, as well as AI-powered PSSR image scaling technology. This will achieve higher frame rates and maintain high image detail.
• Rendering is 45% faster compared to the regular model.
• Alan Wake 2, Assassin's Creed: Shadows, Demon's Souls, Dragon's Dogma 2, Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, Gran Turismo 7, Hogwarts Legacy, Horizon Forbidden West, Marvel's Spider-Man 2, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, The Crew Motorfest, The First Descendant and The Last of Us Part II Remastered will get full support for the console's enhanced features at launch. But Sony noted that this is not a complete list of games.
• The Game Boost option will also improve the performance of games for PS4 and PS5.
• The console supports all the accessories that were released for PS5 earlier, but it comes without a floppy disk drive - it can be purchased separately.
